Pitches prepared for T20 World Cup 2024 in New York

The drop-in pitches are being prepared and moved from Florida to New York, making New York nearly ready to host the T20 World Cup 2024 on June 2. Ten pitches have been transported from across the nation to the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York. Six of the pitches will be installed at nearby practice facilities, while four of the pitches will be utilized in the centre of the field.

"Everything is going to plan, they (the pitches) are in real good condition and all of our benchmarks and measures that we take along the way are exceeding expectations," said Damian Hough, the head curator.
