Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Delhi Capitals (DC) locked horns in the low-scoring 47th match of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024; both teams played this match at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata. The surface at Eden Gardens behaved completely south of the way it played in the last high-scoring and historic game between KKR and Punjab Kings (PBKS).

DC batted first and could post a total of only 153 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in the allotted 20 overs courtesy of some resilience shown by the lower-order batter Kuldeep Yadav. '

However, the hosts, KKR, comfortably chased down the total in 16.4 overs, scoring 157 runs for the loss of 3 wickets and won the match by 7 wickets.

With that said, here we’ll have a look at the top 5 standout performances from this low-scoring thriller between Shreyas Iyer’s KKR and Rishabh Pant’s Delhi Capitals.

Here are the top 5 standout performances of the match:

Kuldeep Yadav (DC) – 35 runs off 26 balls

Kuldeep showed a fighting intent against the dominating KKR bowlers and played a crucial knock of 35 runs off 26 balls, with 5 fours and a six. His knock also helped KKR to go past the 150 mark and post a respectable total of 153 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in the first innings.

Varun Chakravarthy (KKR) – 3/16 in 4 overs

He registered a brilliant economy rate of only 4.00. Chakravarthy scalped the crucial and big wickets of skipper Rishabh Pant and in-form Tristan Stubbs of DC, alongside the impact batter Kumar Kushagra.
