The West Indies cricket team has announced their T20 World Cup 2024 squad, which is slated to take place on June 1 in the West Indies and USA. Notably, the side has included star bowler Shamar Joseph in the team. Moreover, the squad looks very dominant and strong, as it marks the presence of batters like Andre Russell, Nicholas Pooran, and Rovman Powell.
Meanwhile, Shamar Joseph is the one to look out for in the Windies team, as he recently made his name in the second Test against Australia and guided his side to an epic win at the Gabba in Brisbane. Moreover, his fantastic spell has helped him get a place in the LSG squad in the IPL 2024 as a replacement for star batter Mark Wood. The young cricketer has yet to play white-ball cricket for the Windies, but he can play a big role in the T20 World Cup 2024 on his home soil.
Apart from Joseph, the side will be led by Powell, who also seems to be in magnificent form in the IPL 2024. Notably, Andre Russell also looks very dominant in the KKR squad, being one of the best power hitters who can help the Windies be in a strong position.
