The group stages at ESL Pro League S19 are about to come to an end and two more teams, GamerLegion and BIG, have managed to push through and make it to the playoffs.

GamerLegion managed to take down ENCE relatively easily on Nuke and Overpass. The first map on Nuke saw GamerLegion with a lead in double digits, which came to haunt ENCE in the second half. The team mustered a few rounds before GamerLegion closed their map pick with a 13-5 score.

Following Nuke was Overpass, when ENCE did surprisingly well, considering it was GamerLegion’s pick. Both teams had a good half that ended with an equal score. ENCE opened great with a pistol round in the second half. However, starting round 17, ENCE lost their charm and could not pick themselves up from the streak of round loss.

HEROIC once again gave hope to their fans after taking down BIG on the opening map. The team saw a great first half and a dominating second half, resulting in a swift victory. The second map also saw HEROIC take BIG head-on in their map pick.

The first half ended with an equal score, with BIG taking the lead in the second half. However, HEROIC managed to catch up and do the game into overtime. BIG managed to secure the overtime and defeat their opponents. The final match also went to BIG with their dominating performance thanks to JDC.

HEROIC and ENCE on their last life

After their defeat against GamerLegion and BIG in the middle brackets, HEROIC and ENCE are now left with one last chance. Both teams will need to win two back-to-back matches if they also plan to fill the remaining two slots.

However, three more teams in their respective groups are also eyeing the final spots, so the run for it isn’t going to be an easy one. Group C will see Monte go against FORZE Esports, while ENCE will face FURIA Esports. Group D will feature a match between Pera Esports and FlyQuest while HEROIC faces Ninjas in Pyjamas.

All of these matches will take place on May 4 with the winners moving forward to the lower bracket finals leading to Playoffs. All the teams seem to be equally matched, so fans expect another great matchup.
