Their league form this season has been so inconsistent: Gary Neville

Neville believes that United need to look beyond the league table he said on a podcast with Sky Sports, "Chelsea have just improved over the last few weeks. Just picking my phone up there at halftime, looking at the notifications and it saying that Harry Maguire has gotten injured in training."

"That's the one position they [Manchester United] couldn't afford an injury. He's the one defender fit, or centre-back fit. That would be a real problem for United. United's season largely depends on the FA Cup, just generally. Their league form this season has been so inconsistent."

Erik ten Hag has been immense pressure after the dismal show of the team and the management have been looking for a possible replacement for the manager, however he has asked more time from Sir Jim Ratcliffe who heads the football operations for the club the hierarchy has also decided to pay cut 25% of salary of the manager if the side fails to qualify for the UCL in the next season.
