Liverpool faced Tottenham Hotspur in the English Premier League clash on Sunday at Anfield. The Reds are already out of contention for the title race. On the other hand, Spurs are chasing a spot in the UEFA Champions League. The game went well for the home side as they kept pressuring the Tottenham end and it paid off as well, with Mohamed Salah opening the scoring in the 16th minute. Andrew Robertson scored the insurance goal just before half-time. Cody Gakpo made it three five minutes into the second half. Harvey Elliott scored an amazing goal from outside the box. The away side pulled one back with their captain, Heung-min Son, scoring, and then Richarlison reducing the lead. They tried their best to equalize but were caught on the counter after Salah made it 5-2.

 Alisson-7

The goalkeeper had nothing to do during the first half. He made one good save of Brennan Johnson header could not have done much about the two goals he conceded. 

Trent Alexander-Arnold-7

He was excelleny in right flank, as he deserves credit for completely nullifying Johnson in the first half of the game gave good support in the attack.

Jarell Quansah-7

He was excellent in the back line and made some good interceptions and won ariel duels for the side. Showed good composure with the ball as well. 

Virgil van Dijk-6

The Dutch centre back was decent in the back failed to show the leadership at the backline caught out during the counter attacks of Spurs. 

Andrew Robertson-7.5

The Scottish was really threatening down the left side, and he did not waste the opportunity to score the second goal after Salah's ball came to him as a re-bound. In addition, he played an excellent cross-field pass in the buildup to the fourth goal.

Harvey Elliott-8.5

Amazing in the game as he scored one belter of a goal and delivered one beautiful ball to Cody Gakpo who scored the third. Elliot was very promising against the Tottenham midfield. 

Wataru Endo-7

The Japanese controlled the game for the side, he builded from defence and looked the transition look easy for the side. 

Alexis Mac Allister-5.5

Argentine did not have much to do as he was overshadowed by his partners and could not offer much to the match as per his standards. 

Mohamed Salah-8

Salah broke the deadlock and settled the game at the end with his second goal after scoring the fifth goal. The Egyptian started for the first time since his touchline and was excellent in the pitch. 

Cody Gakpo-7.5

He participated in the majority of Liverpool's best chances, including picking Salah for the goal with a wonderful cross from the left flank and scored the third as well. 

Luis Diaz-6.5

Diaz was constant threat down the left wing worked tirelessly but, he again could not find any end product.

Gomez failed to match up with the speed and tempo of the game and was caught out of position during the first goa.

Could have done better with Liverpool's first goal. Made a some decent saves to keep the scoreline in a respectable one.

The right back had tough times against Robertson and Diaz as he could not keep the composure failed to have any effect in the attacking half as well.

The Argentine was the best man at the back for the side he saved the side from the early goal, was sluggish clearing the balls. Showed fighting moments at the back. 

Micky van de Ven-6.5

He was the last man for the side and made some excellent blocks and interceptions otherwise the scoreline would have been much worse for the side. 

Emerson Royal-4.5 

The Brazilian full back was out of position and up against Salah, but lack defensively and offered nothing as an inverted full-back in the attack. However made one tackle to deny the Egyptian. 

Yves Bissouma-4

He failed to make any impact in the middle of the park. Could not control the tempo of the game and failed to destroy the attacks of the Reds

Pape Sarr-4

Sarr was not good in the midfield, could not show composure with the ball did not help to build up the game for Spurs defensively.

Rodrigo Bentancur-3 

Bentancur is not a proper No.10 and that showed in the game as he could not create much impact in the game as his decision-making was poor in the final third. 

Dejan Kulusevski-5.5

He failed to create in the final third and rarely looked to challenge on the left-side of the pitch and could not trouble Robertson.

Heung-Min Son-6

The South Korean was silent for the game could not trouble the defence of the Reds, scored the 2nd goal for the side. 

Brennan Johnson-5

The Welsh international was silent in the first half of the game, he improved as the game started in the 2nd half of the game and set up Richarlison’s goal with a low cross.

Skipp was good since coming on as he tracked back well and helped in the attack as well.
