Paris Saint-Germain will be up against Borussia Dortmund in the 2nd leg of the UEFA Champions League semi-finals. The French champions have been in good form in the domestic league however they lost their last game in the 1st leg against the German side at the Signal Iduna Park by 1-0. They could have conceded more but the home side failed to capitalise on the chances. PSG defeated FC Barcelona in the quarter-finals and the German side against the odds shocked Atletico Madrid.

Dortmund will be looking to qualify for the finals of the tournament as their domestic season has been a decent one as they are placed 5th in the Bundesliga, they have already secured the qualification for UCL next season due to the better coefficient of the nation than the others. The side will look to make it happen in order to provide a fairytale farewell to their superstar Marco Reus who announced his departure from the club after 12 long years.

PSG will look to win their maiden title as the French club have not been at its best in the competition. The European trophy has been missing in their cabinet for many years, despite making it to the final in the 2019/20 season they lost against Bayern Munich with former PSG player Kingsley Coman scoring for the German team.

Paris Saint-Germain vs Borussia Dortmund: Prediction

Luis Enrique's side have performed well with certain plans and tactics. The former Barca manager came back to haunt them and knocked his former team out of the tournament. Back in 2014/15, he led the side to the UCL trophy and since then he himself also have not been won the final and he has the chance to give the French club their maiden UCL trophy. Both sides met back in the group stage with the French side coming out winning one and the other game ended in a draw.

Dortmund already have a lead of 1-0 and will look to pile up on the same and travel to Wembley for the final. Although the problem for the side has been cosistency, that can hurt them in a semi-final 2nd leg as the side needs to step up in the big stage in order to qualify. Niclas Fullkrug might need to steup for the side as he did in the reverse fixture.
