Kenny Omega returned to AEW Dynamite in the latest episode. After a long injury, he was back in action, only to be taken out by The Elite. He is reportedly being admitted to the hospital after getting fractured. While an update on it is yet to arrive, Kenny cut a promo in which the former EVP spoke about his injuries, return, and future in the company. After the segment, Kenny was taken out by the Elite.

Kenny started by saying that he is not good at speaking about injuries, illness, and weakness. The former EVP of the company revealed that he was diagnosed with diverticulitis. He claimed that the doctors said he was 24 hours away from death. The AEW Superstar felt it to be 'cool' and asked the doctors if he could return to action as soon as possible.

Omega revealed a shocking claim from the doctor. He said that becoming fit was not an easy task. Omega said that the doctors felt he must be out of action for six months or a year, or the rest of his life to have fillets functioning. Kenny said he asked the doctor what would happen if he did not undergo the process of having the fillets back. To it, the doctors gave a stern warning.

They said that his body would be like a ticking time bomb for the rest of his life. He claimed that the doctors said he would not know when, why, and where his body could stop working. Kenny revealed the doctors warned that any sort of force on his stomach could kill him. Omega admitted that he had been fearing for his life since that day. He claimed that for the first time in his career, he felt anxiety and regarded himself to be a coward.

“Since that day, I can't lie, I had to stop- I had to stop watching. I had to stop watching because my hands would shake. I was scared. For the first time in my career, I was scared. And I felt pathetic, I felt like a coward, and I felt like maybe, the point today, this whole thing, was to come out and explain to you that I had to retire," said Omega in the promo as the crowd cheered him.

Kenny Omega's will to return

While the first part of the promo was about his return to action, the former AEW EVP spoke about the driving force behind his return to Dynamite. Omega claimed that he saw AEW Dynasty for the first time and witnessed the match between Will Ospreay and Bryan Danielson which he regarded to be one of the greatest matches. He added that watching Swerve script history made him happy.

Kenny claimed that his tremors and hands started to increase. The AEW Superstar added that he felt as if he was a wrestler. Kenny then talked about his return. He claimed that when he got the call from Justin Roberts, it felt good. Omega regarded the shivers to be his excitement about returning to action. He added that the crowd chanting his name made him crazy.

Omaga felt that he had to be back in the ring. The AEW Superstar felt that he was a dead man without him being in the ring. He felt bad for not being a part of the PPV events which have been highly regarded of late. Kenny then promised the fans that quitting wrestling would be his last option. He added that even if there is a chance of ten of five or even a single per cent, he would be in the ring.

“So, I made a promise to myself, and I'm making a promise to each and every one of you: This isn't over until I exhaust every option. If there's a ten per cent chance, a five per cent chance, a one per cent chance, bag or no bag, you guys aren't done with Kenny Omega yet," said the AEW Superstar on his return to action. The speech had a thunderous applause from the fans. What followed it was annihilation from the Elite, which was despised by the crowd.
