WATCH: Rey Fenix walks on the Beast Mortos head, gets running action speared on AEW Collision

AEW: Rey Fenix and Monstrous Mortos had an incredible match in the latest episode of Collision. During the match, both wrestlers pulled off instant classic moves.

Rey Fenix and the Monstrous Mortos delivered a great match on AEW Collision. During the match, the duo was involved in some eye-catching moments. On one such instance, both wrestlers gave a moment to cherish for years. Rey was at his athletic best and Mortos displayed his power. The fans and the commentators went crazy as the duo pulled off a great match. 

Rey started the match on a good note, taking on the Monster. He dominated the match for the first few minutes. But the beast made a comeback and took on the masked wrestler. As the match progressed, tensions increased. Both wrestlers made the crowd to be on their feet. The commentators sold the match well by being totally involved in it. The moment of the match came when Rey was over the beast.

He sneaked through the control of Mortos, climbed the apron, and got enough elevation to climb over the tall wrestler. Rey then stomped the neck of Mortos, walked over his head, and landed safely. If that was not enough, Rey tried to attack Mortos, only to be speared by the latter. It was a brilliant moment and the people in the arena enjoyed it.

Monstrous Mortos stands tall

Despite the epic performance from Rey, Mortos ended the match as the winner. It was a great match and Mortos deserved to have the final laugh. There were some other matches on Collision which were scheduled to take place. Toni Storm continued her winning run by defeating Anna Jay. Likewise, Swerve Strickland was set to defend his AEW World title against Claudio Castagnoli. 

Before them, there was an update regarding the medical condition of Tony Khan. The AEW boss is set to operate from Jacksonville despite the pain. After undergoing a neck surgery, Khan has not been in the best of the physical conditions to take part actively in the proceedings. Yet, he is willing to operate from Jacksonville with the help of EVPs from the three brands. Swerve emerged victorious against Castagnoli.
