There have been big debates on who will be replacing the hioly trinity and carry the legacy of tennis going forward. With the likes of Roger Fedrerer retired and Rafael Nadal in his last season, the biggest trio in tennis is almost coming to an end. There are two players who are considered to take over the ATP players right now. They are none other than Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner who are having some of the best seasons so far.

Jannik Sinner has also been having a season to remember after winning his first Grand Slam this season. The Italian has been in the form of his life and has been winning a lot of big games. He is currently the world number 2 ranked player and has already got two ATP titles to his name. He was recently seen in Madrid Open where he unfotunately had to withdraw from the quarter finals due to an injury. This was really a worrying moment for everyone who were looking forward to this match as well.

Sinner injury scares results in Rome withdrawal

There was a injury in Sinner's right hip which resulted in him withdrawing his quarter final match against Felix Auger Aliassime. However though this might have been heartbreaking , there was still some fans who would be posistive since there are still two more tournaments including the French open to win a clay title this season. Unfortunately for them The Italian superstar has withdrawn from the Rome Masters as well which is a sad news considering he is one of the in form players this season. this would have also been a proper homecoming tournament for the 2024 Australian Open winner and a chance to win his third ATP title this season.

This is enough to question whether he will even feature in the Roland Garros as well. We all should hope that this injury is not serious enough to keep him out of the French Open as well. Sinner has been one of the most iconic players right now and it is really disappointing to see him go out like this with a grand slam just around the corner. We all will wish that he recovers quicker enough to win his second grand slam this season and cointinue his great form.
