Austin Theory and Grayson Waller defend their tag team title against Street profits, Carlito opens up on attacking Dragon Lee

Austin Theory and Grayson Waller managed to defend their Tag Team Championship on Friday Night Smackdown. In their maiden title defense, the duo defeated the Street Profits and emerged victorious. The match was set after the Street Profits became the number one contenders to face the tag team champions. The duo put on a show and entertained the crowd with their performance.

At the start of the match, Austin Theory had a bit of control. But it was Street Profits who dominated the most parts from there. Both the partners of the Street Profits delivered good moves. They were all over Grayson and Austin. The crowd cheered them and witnessed a lively atmosphere in the LDLC Arena. At that point, they were the favorites to win the match.

Their domination in Smackdown continued as they took on Grayson. Austin tried to make a comeback in the match but was taken out as well. Just when the Street Profits prepared to finish the match. Waller came out of nowhere having recovered himself. He pinned Montez to steal a win. Just like the Street Profits duo, the crowd was not happy with the result, given how they performed.

Dragon Lee attacks Carlito

Dragon Lee attacked Carlito in the backstage segment. Last week on Smackdown, Santos Escobar revealed the footage of the person responsible for the attack on Dragon a night prior to WrestleMania XL. It was none other than Carlito. It led to a huge shock for LWO, as Carlito ran away from the arena. Earlier that night, Carlito was asked about the motives behind his actions.

The WWE Superstar claimed that he wished to take part in the match alongside Rey Mysterio in WrestleMania XL. He was unhappy with the fact that the WWE Hall of Famer decided to name Dragon Lee as his partner in the Mania. Just when he finished the promo, Dragon Lee attacked Carlito. The entire LWO along with Carlito was drafted to Raw. We might see the ongoing segment continue in the upcoming episode of Raw.
