1. Mohammed Siraj 

The Royal Challengers Bangalore’s right-arm fast bowler Mohammed Siraj stunned the fans with his dream spell of 3/8 against the Kolkata Knight Riders. Siraj would have impressed the selectors with his dream spell. The former Sunrisers Hyderabad fast bowler became the first player to bowl two maiden overs in an IPL match.

Siraj has evolved a lot as a fast bowler. The Bangalore-based franchise backed him despite his failures, and eventually, the backing paid off in grand fashion. His line and length can trouble the batsmen in any format.

Comparing his IPL 2020 numbers with the previous seasons, one can clearly say that Siraj is ready to play for the Indian team now. His economy rate is 7.85 in four games so far. Siraj can be the perfect back-up pacer in the team.

2. Washington Sundar 

Another player from the Royal Challengers Bangalore team to feature on this list is the spin-bowling all-rounder Washington Sundar. Skipper Virat Kohli has understood how to use the Tamil Nadu player in the powerplay overs. The right-arm off-spinner has bowled some terrific spells in IPL 2020 so far.

Kohli has also backed Sundar as a batsman in the tournament. In the match against the Kings XI Punjab, the team management promoted Sundar above AB de Villiers, showing faith in his batting abilities. India need a solid off-spin bowler and Sundar can play that role for the team.

3. Rahul Tewatia

The surprise package of IPL 2020 has been Rahul Tewatia. The uncapped leg-spin all-rounder shocked everyone with an epic knock against the Kings XI Punjab earlier in the event. He slammed five sixes in an over bowled by Sheldon Cottrell, which shows that he can destroy any bowler on his day.

Another Indian talent who has done extremely well for RCB this year is Navdeep Saini. Although the right-arm quick bowler has only picked up five wickets in ten matches, his line and length have not allowed easy runs to the batsmen. Saini has an economy rate of 8.08 this season, which is better than the 2019 season.

Most importantly, he has emerged as a reliable option for Virat Kohli this year. He had bowled a splendid Super Over against the Mumbai Indians, showing that he can do well under pressure. With Bhuvneshwar Kumar dealing with an injury, Saini could possibly bowl alongside Jasprit Bumrah in the T20 World Cup.

5. Shubman Gill

Shubman Gill can be a back-up batsman in the T20 World Cup for India. The openers of the Indian team are in fine touch right now, but the middle-order batsmen have not had the best IPL season. The likes of Sanju Samson, Vijay Shankar, Shivam Dube, and Rishabh Pant have struggled to play with consistency.
