India is currently gearing up for the ODI series decider against West Indies that will be played at Barabati Stadium in Cuttack. However, Yuzvendra Chahal, who is still due to make his first appearance in the ODI series against West Indies, was recently trolled by the Indian skipper Virat Kohli in a hilarious fashion.
In the last couple of years, Chahal has emerged as one of the best spinners for Team India in the limited-overs format. However, a sudden dip in his form with the ball has ruled him out from the playing XI. He made his debut international debut in 2016 and donned Indian jersey in 50 ODIs and 36 T20Is in which he has grabbed 137 international wickets. Chahal was also the part of the squad that travelled to play ICC World Cup 2019 in England.
Yuzvendra Chahal gets trolled by the Indian skipper
Chahal is known for his funny nature and shares a strong bond with players like Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Kuldeep Yadav and many more. He usually comes up with some hilarious tweets in order to troll his teammates and Chahal often finds himself on the receiving end.
The same happened when he shared a still with a bat in his hand standing alongside Kieron Pollard. He also gave a funny caption to the picture that read, “10 kilo ka bat, 2.5 kilo ka haath,”
Soon, the post by Chahal attracted the sight of the Indian skipper Virat Kohli, who quickly took a hilariously trolled the young Indian spinner. He wrote,” Abey Teri thigh se badi calf hai uski,” (His Thigh is bigger than your calf). It was quite evident in Kohli’s comment that he was pointing towards skinniness of Chahal.
Hosts India got off to a poor start to their three-match ODI series against West Indies and lost the series opener by a margin of eight wickets. After getting a reality check in the 1st game, they marked a strong comeback and thrashed Kieron Pollard and Co by 107 runs.
It was made only possible on the back of some brilliant performances given by Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul and Kuldeep Yadav in Vishakhapatnam. Now, the third match of the series is scheduled to be played on December 22.
