The 3rd and final game of the 3-match T20 series between Australia A Women and India A Women will be played at the Bill Pippen Oval in Gold Coast.
The match starts at 10:00 AM local time (12:00 AM GMT) (5:30 AM IST).
India A Women suffered their 4th successive loss on their tour of Australia as the Australia A Women clinched the 3-match T20 series by taking a 2-0 lead. The visiting team bowlers did well to restrict the Australia A to 145/7 after losing the toss. No player barring skipper Veda Krishnamurthy crossed 20 in the chase for India A. Veda scored 38 off 35 balls out of her team’s total of 108/8. The Indian team is missing consistency with the bat which they showed in the first match of the tour and it remains the only game they won in this tour thus far.
The Bill Pippen Oval in Goal Coast is expected to be under the clouds on Monday but no rain is predicted during match timings.
The Bill Pippen Oval has hardly witnessed big totals and the Saturday’s match was one of them. Australia A Women’s total of 145 in the 2nd T20 is among the biggest totals witnessed by this venue in Women’s Twenty20 matches. We might not see any major changes to the nature of the pitch at this venue for the last match. However, it could be doctored to produced are high scores as possible.

Shafali Verma can’t be ignored from the fantasy team due to the recent failures. Her century in the first One-Day match is proof of her class that came against a strong Australia A bowling attack. She showed glimpses of her talent in the following matches but just couldn’t convert. With not much pressure in the last game, Shafali could produce a big knock and sign off the tour in style.
India A Women is expected to finish the tour with a win.
