Pakistan batsman Babar Azam is deemed as of the greatest batters of modern times and his comparison is often drawn with Virat Kohli. Pakistan head coach Misbah-ul-Haq recently stated that the young cricketer has a great cricketing sense. While he has already established his supremacy in the batting field, he needs to prove the same in his captaincy. Azam has now become the first Pakistan skipper to win his first four games while taking the charge.

Haq added that captaincy only gets better with time when a player faces various types of situations. As Azam will continue taking the charge, he will get better. The 26-year-old has already proved himself well enough in all the formats of the game and now captaincy will be his new test.

“Captaincy is something that gets better with time. The more you face certain situations, the better you will be at it. Babar has a great cricketing sense, he has proved that in all formats with the bat already. He has to prove that now in his captaincy too. Hopefully, he’ll do well in the future too,” Haq said after the series win against Zimbabwe as quoted by The Indian Express.

 

Bio-bubble life is never easy: Misbah-ul-Haq

The Pakistan men team has been playing a good amount of cricket in recent time with their latest one being the series against Zimbabwe. And that is why the players have been coping up with the bio bubble life as well. The head coach also praised his players for managing the testing times in cricket well.

“These are unprecedented times that we’re living in. Bio-bubble life is never easy. In earlier times, players used to get a lot of private time on tours, where they could travel or meet people to cool off between games. Now, once you’re in a bubble, you have to stay there no matter what. Hats off to the team and management for handling it so well,” added Haq.

International cricket is tough nowadays and to perform well is laudable reckoned Haq.
