The 2nd game of the 3-match T20 series between Bangladesh A Women and India A Women will be played at the Sheikh Kamal International Cricket Stadium (SKICS) in Cox’s Bazar.
The match starts at 2:00 PM local time (1:30 PM IST) (8:00 AM GMT).
The first game of the 3-match T20 series between India A Women and Bangladesh A Women ended without a result on Friday. The continuous rains as predicted in the weather forecast in Cox’s Bazar didn’t even allow the happening of the toss. This washout certainly put a break to the India A Women’s dominance over the Bangladesh A Women in the ongoing tour.
India A Women won the 3-match One-Day series quite comfortably. In all the three matches, the visiting team registered big wins against the Bangladesh A side. Now the home side will be hoping some change of fortunes with the change of venue. Bangladesh A side has a variety of players who have done well for the national team in the T20 format in the last couple of years.
There are decent chances of rain on Saturday. Since the game is scheduled to start at 2 PM, we might have only a delayed start. The weather is expected to improve after 1 PM local time.
The Cox’s Bazar is expected to produce totals around 140 regularly in Women’s T20s. This is usually a decent venue in terms of producing good scores. The low scores are an exception to the quality of the teams involved in a match.
