The Scorchers’ bowling unit did not let the Hobart Hurricanes get away with easy runs as the visiting team made only 139 in 20 overs despite losing only 5 wickets. The fifty by D’Arcy Short (54 off 47) helped Hurricanes score 100 runs in the last 11 overs. Scorchers chased down the target of 140 in only 16.2 overs for the loss of one wicket as Jason Roy smashed an unbeaten 52-ball 74 while Liam Livingstone made 54 off 39 balls.
