The coronavirus threat has gone across the globe and has spread dangerous warning bells. At this moment, there’s hardly any country which doesn’t have a single coronavirus patient. The global pandemic has taken down more 27,000 lives already. Due to all of this, cricket has no place in the current situation with all matches been cancelled. Players are spending time off the field and trying to engage on social media.
Recently, Pakistani cricketers were involved in a challenge on Twitter. Test captain Azhar Ali nominated Imad Wasim for the 50 squats challenge. Without showing any hesitancy, the all-rounder took the challenge. He uploaded a video in which he can be seen doing all the 50 squats. He further nominated a few more Pakistani cricketers like Haris Sohail, Babar Azam, Abid Ali and Imam-ul-Haq.
Shoaib Malik pulls Imad Wasim’s leg on Twitter
After watching him do this challenge, Shoaib Malik had the most hilarious reaction. The veteran noticed that Imad Wasim had his hands joined as if he was asking someone for an apology. Malik instantly attempted to troll Wasim and wrote– “lagta bhabi se maafi mang mang ke haath naturally squats mey bhi waisey hain. maybe she was making the video? What’s next murgha squat challenge?!!”.

What’s next murgha squat challenge?!! 😅

The translation literally refers to, “It seems that your hands are folded naturally during squats as you have gotten used to it by apologizing to your wife. Maybe she is shooting the video. What is next after this? A chicken squat challenge”
Malik’s epic response made the entire Twitterati laugh. In fact, Abid Ali and Wahab Riaz agreed with the words of Malik and trolled Imad further. But surely, all this was done in a good spirit.
Meanwhile, Pakistan Super League 2020 knockout stages have finally got some clarity. The semi-finals and finals of PSL 2020 were called off earlier this month due to the outbreak of coronavirus. According to the reports which have emerged since then, it seems Pakistan Cricket Board won’t be interested in hosting it anytime soon.
But, some reports have surfaced on internet suggesting PCB organising the league in November for just the knockout stage. Originally the tournament had a four-match playoff format but it was changed to a simpler, two semis and one final, format.
