At the present point in time, every other sport has had to bear the brunt of the deadly COVID-19 pandemic, which has sent the world into a lockdown. To make things worse, there’s no sign of stopping down and the coronavirus continues to wreak a serious amount of carnage across the world. A number of sporting tournaments have either been suspended or been postponed.
There’s not much going around in any sport and the world awaits the return of action on the field of play. In the meantime, Aakash Chopra, the former Indian cricketer, came across a video where a bowler was seen performing some incredible dribbling on the pitch itself. The bowler delivered a back-of-a-length delivery on and around the off-stump and the batter defended carefully.
But instead of picking the ball with his hands, the bowler resorted to ‘Keepie-uppies’, the act of juggling the ball on feet in football. He managed to balance the ball with great precision and hardly lost control over the same. He then lobbed the ball up and the wicketkeeper collected it. Chopra captioned the video and wrote, “Bowler hai ya Cristiano Ronaldo?”

Ronaldo’s club affected by coronavirus
In the wake of the coronavirus, sportspersons across the globe have been asked to stay in isolation to avoid getting affected. Ronaldo, who represents Juventus, an Italian football club, has quarantined himself back at his home county in Portugal. His teammates from the football club, Daniele Rugani and Blaise Matuidi have been tested positive with coronavirus.
A total of 122 players from the Juventus club have been quarantined after the COVID-19 outbreak. Italy is currently in a lockdown after the virus has accounted for the lives in excess of 2,500. The coronavirus has affected over 1.5 lakh people over the course of the last few days.
In international cricket, South Africa’s tour of India and New Zealand’s tour of Australia were called off midway. The Over-50s World Cup in Cape Town and the 2020 edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) also came to a halt. Even the start of the Indian Premier League (IPL) has been postponed from March 29 to April 15 amid the pandemic.
