James Neesham is someone, who isn’t short of humour at any stage. A number of fans on Twitter and Instagram have tried to troll him severely, but the Auckland-born has replied in a hilarious way, shutting his critics down. A user on Twitter recently called him an a***ole and Neesham reverted in a funny way. Recently, he was engaged in a friendly banter with the legendary Brendon McCullum.
A page by the name of ‘radioactive’ posted a picture where it claimed to have found someone, who could play the left-hander’s role in the New Zealand-based movie on the 2019 World Cup. Neesham was one of the Black Caps’ star all-rounders in the mega event. He also played in the Super Over against Eoin Morgan’s England in the Final at the renowned Lord’s Cricket Ground in London.
Neesham scored 14 runs off five balls in the one-over eliminator. But it couldn’t save the Kiwis from a defeat as Martin Guptill couldn’t score a couple in the last ball. After the game at the Home of Cricket, Neesham was highly dejected and advised kids to not take up sport as a profession.
Neesham trolls back after McCullum’s message
He was happy with the tweet of making a movie on him and the national team. The 28-year-old replied to radioactive’s tweet and wrote, “Yep, hell of a way to put someone in a good mood.” In the meantime, McCullum jumped in and posted a collage of Neesham and an animal. He captioned the picture and wrote, “Prefer this personally,”

Neesham didn’t throw in the towel. He uploaded McCullum’s picture and also called him ‘grandpa’. The all-rounder replied to Baz and wrote, “Good to see grandpa finally figured out how to upload a photo,”

McCullum retired from international cricket after scoring the fastest ever Test century against Australia back in 2016. Thereafter, he continued playing franchise cricket. The swashbuckling batsman retired from all forms of cricketer after the 2019 Global T20 Canada in Brampton.
As far as Neesham is concerned, he wasn’t a part of the T20I series in Sri Lanka. Even he took part in the G20 and is currently plying his trade for the Trinbago Knight Riders in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL). Interestingly, McCullum is the head coach of the TKR in the CPL.
