The coronavirus pandemic has been wreaking havoc across the glove in the past few months. The COVID-19 outbreak has also taken a toll on sporting activities in the world. To make things worse, many cricketers have tested positive in recent times.

A few days ago, former Pakistan skipper Shahid Afridi tested positive of COVID-19. Following Afridi, former Bangladesh skipper Mashrafe Mortaza has also tested positive. Earlier, his mother-in-law was also diagnosed with the life-threatening virus. Wishes poured in for Mortaza as many cricketers prayed for his speedy recovery.

Out-of-favour Suresh Raina, who has been trying to bounce back in Team India, is leaving no stones unturned to keep himself fit during the pandemic. The Chennai Super Kings vice-captain shared a clip where he was seen sweating it out during the weekend.

Hardik Pandya, who recently was in news after announcing the pregnancy of his wife Natasa Stankovic, shared a selfie with brother Krunal. Amid the pandemic, cricketers have been left with no choice but to spend time indoors. The Pandya brothers are touted to play a vital role for Mumbai Indians when IPL 2020 gets hosted in the near future.

Meanwhile, former Australia skipper shared his national jersey while reminiscing 1999 World Cup final. Ponting recalled the amazing experience of lifting the trophy and said that it was the highlight of his career to that point. Former Indian skipper Sourav Ganguly also recalled his national debut and termed it as his life’s ‘best moment’.
