The Round 2 match of Darwin and District ODD 2020 will be played between Southern Districts Cricket Club and Pint Cricket Club at Fred’s Pass.
The match starts at 11:00 AM local time (7 AM IST) (1:30 AM GMT). There is no live streaming of this match in India.
The round 2 of the ongoing One-Day league in Darwin ODD will take place on Saturday. Southern Districts Cricket Club will face the Pint Cricket Club in one of the three matches of the day. Pint CC lost the previous game to the Waratah CC as they failed to defend 200 runs. They will hope to make amends for the loss and come up with a better effort in this game.
The Southern Districts CC, on the other hand, were awarded a bye in the first round and they will be taking the field for the first time on Saturday. The team will be keen to start their tournament with a victory.
The weather is great for the game of cricket to take place at the venue. There is no chance of rain with the temperature expected to hover in the mid-30s.
This is the first match of the tournament at the venue. However, if the C and D Grade matches that took place at this ground last week are considered, the bowlers generally enjoy at the venue. In both the matches, batsmen struggled to score runs. But with some of the top cricketers in Darwin taking the field for this match, expect the team batting first to score over 200 runs at least in 50 overs.
Average first innings score: 141 (In two 50-over matches played at the venue last week)
Record of the chasing teams: Won – 1; Lost – 1

Matt Hammond is an exceptional all-rounder for Southern Districts CC. In the recently concluded T20 tournament he picked up 11 wickets and scored 105 runs in five matches. Dean Fry is another decent player. He bats in the middle-order on most occasions and scored 83 runs apart from picking 7 wickets in five outings.
Corey Kelly did well in the semi-final of the tournament scoring an unbeaten 77 off 39 balls but impressed little in the rest of four matches. However, he was also impressive with the ball accounting for three wickets in four innings. Mylius and Mullen are also decent batsmen. With the ball, Michael Ninneman is the best with five wickets to his name.
As far as the Pint Cricket Club are concerned, Tim Garner starred for them in the previous game with an unbeaten 82-run knock. He was in good form in T20 tournament as well scoring 118 runs in three outings. He also bowled in the previous One-Day game returning with 1/12 in six overs. John Flynn scored 17 runs in the previous game and picked a wicket as well. His all-round game was at its best in the T20s as well earlier this month.
Bilal Abbas is also a decent batsman but is not consistent enough going by the performances in the T20s. Martin Brown opened the innings in the previous outing and stroked an impressive 42. Joel Logan picked three wickets in the last game while he was on fire in the shortest format too accounting for 8 scalps in four matches including a five-wicket haul.
