Back in 2016, Sushant Singh Rajput featured in the movie MS Dhoni- The Untold Story, that created a lot of buzz in the Indian film industry. The actor made his debut back in 2013 and there was a lot of expectations from him since he was enacting the role of one of the greatest captains India have ever produced. The spotlight was on him and it won’t be wrong in saying that he was under pressure.

However, parking aside all his nervousness, he stood like a rock and emerged as a champion. Not only did the movie become a superhit, Sushant’s stature amongst the big boys also increased. After four years, the world won’t be privileged to see his movies anymore. The 34-year-old has committed suicide and his dead body was found at his residence in Mumbai, much to the shock of many.

Actors, cricketers and many others have dropped their condolences for the massive loss. In the meantime, Disha Patani, who was Sushant’s co-star in the movie, based on Dhoni, reacted to the actor’s demise. The youngster didn’t write anything, but uploaded an emoji of a broken heart.

Disha playing Sushant’s love interest

In the movie, Disha played the role of Dhoni’s love interest Priyanka. Sushant and her introduction took place when the former was in the airplane during the home series against Pakistan. The duo had a friendly chat after which Disha said that Rajput would be having a great game next time.

In the very next ODI in Vizag, the Jharkhand-born Dhoni announced himself to the world and scored a sparkling century. Sushant and Disha’s relationship kept flourishing, but fate had some other plans for them. When Dhoni was away for the tour of Pakistan, Disha met with an accident.

Her car was run over by a massive vehicle. On returning, Sushant’s friends were reluctant to give him the news. But when he got to know about the development, he got down from the car, sat on the road and cried. However, he shed the disappointment and moved ahead in his life.
