Coronavirus pandemic has led to almost everyone staying at home. Cricketers are no exception to it as well. They are using this forced break to spend time with their family and interact with fans on social media. New Zealand cricketer Jimmy Neesham also did the same and was presented with a common question by a fan who asked him about the quality of cricket played in the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
This is not the first time that a cricketer has been asked about PSL. Rather with India and Pakistan being arch rivals, the fans keep asking the cricketers, irrespective of their country, about their favourite T20 league among the Indian Premier League (IPL) and PSL. Both the leagues have played a crucial role in bringing the talent to the limelight in the country and many of the players shining in the T20 extravaganza have represented their countries at the international level.
And this was not the first time that a fan had asked Jimmy Neesham such a question. The all-rounder was visibly not pleased with it and went on to say that he has become sick of the same question. Neesham also denied to rate the standards of the PSL as he is yet to play in the league. “Getting a bit sick of this question! I haven’t played in it so how would I know???” his response read.

Jimmy Neesham in quarantine after returning from Australia
Meanwhile, Jimmy Neesham has self-isolated himself, like his other New Zealand teammates, after returning from Australia. New Zealand had embarked on Australia tour for the three-match ODI series earlier this month. However, the contest was postponed after the first ODI itself with the Coronavirus spreading like anything across the world. Soon after returning home, the cricketers were instructed to self-isolate themselves for 14 days.
As far as Neesham is concerned, he was due to play in the IPL for the first time since 2014. His services were secured by the Kings XI Punjab in the auction for his base price of Rs 50 lakhs. However, his comeback has been extended now with the IPL also being deferred until April 15 and the chances tournament happening this year are bleak.
