The Brampton Wolves have turned out to be an unstoppable force in the second edition of the Global T20 Canada 2019. The Colin Munro-captained unit is sitting pretty on top of the points table with six points from three matches. They also have a Net Run Rate of +3.853, which shows the level of the domination they have had. They last beat the Winnipeg Hawks by 7 wickets at the CAA Centre.
Their next game is against the Toronto Nationals, who are only one spot above cellar dwellers Edmonton Royals. The Nationals, led by Yuvraj Singh, somehow need to get back to winning ways. After their eight-wicket defeat at the hands of Vancouver Knights, they brushed aside the Royals by a couple of wickets. But the three-wicket loss to the Hawks has once again pushed them back.
The 12th match of the Global T20 Canada 2019 will be played between Toronto Nationals and Brampton Wolves at the CAA Centre in Brampton, Ontario.
The match starts at 12:30 PM local time (4:30 PM GMT) (10:00 PM IST- Aug 3).
This game will be live on Star Sports and live streaming is available on Hotstar.
The pitch in Ontario has been an excellent one for batting. Bowlers have been taken to the cleaners. But wickets have also tended to fall in heaps as batters have tried to throw the kitchen sink at everything. The tracks are also seeming to slow down with the progression of the tournament. Winning the toss and electing to field first should be the way forward for the teams.
