Vancouver Knights lost their second match versus the Winnipeg Hawks by seven wickets. Thereafter their match versus the Montreal Tigers didn’t produce any result. With Colin Munro and Co in dire requirement of a victory, they came into their own against cellar-dwellers Edmonton Royals. The Knights won the encounter by six wickets and most importantly, moved to the second position of the table.
However, their next game isn’t expected to be an easy one by any means. The Knights are set to lock horns with the Brampton Wolves, who are sitting pretty on top of the table, in the first of Sunday’s doubleheader. The Wolves’ bowlers have been excellent thus far and the Knights’ in-form batting unit will have a task on its hands. A cracker of a contest seems to be in store in Brampton, Ontario.
The 14th match of the Global T20 Canada 2019 will be played between Vancouver Knights and Brampton Wolves at the CAA Centre in Brampton, Ontario.
The match starts at 12:30 PM local time (4:30 PM GMT) (10:00 PM IST- Aug 4).
This game will be live on Star Sports and live streaming is available on Hotstar.
The pitch is tending to slow down a wee bit as the league moves forward. But run-scoring hasn’t become all that difficult. Bowlers still need to work hard in order to restrict the batters. Chasing has been the way forward and it shouldn’t change even in the next encounter.
