Back in 2010, when Shoaib Malik and Sania Mirza got married, their wedding got a lot of attention as they both were top players from their respective countries in their sport. Sania was the most successful women’s tennis player from India while Shoaib had already led his country to a final of world event in cricket. Ten years on, they are still one of the most celebrated couples.

Recently during a conversation with Pakistani sports presenter Zainab Abbas, Mirza spilled some beans about her marriage. Upon being asked one of the habits of her husband which annoys her, the Tennis star opened up. She revealed that there are differences between them when it comes to facing an argument. She explained that Shoaib doesn’t speak his mind up properly, especially during an argument.

“So when we are having a conversation, and he doesn’t speak, especially when we are having an argument or something and he just keeps quiet. I want to break something because I’m like ‘Can you just speak and finish it off because then it’s gonna lag’,” said Sania.

The 33-year-old further pointed out that her husband is pretty laid back in certain terms. She said that he would often say that they have this conversation later while trying to escape an argument. The Indian star also said that she hates when her husband is on the phone while she keeps talking.

“I’m like this person who wants to get it over with, and he (Shoaib) is that person who wants to be like ‘Aaram se baat karenge (we will talk slowly)’. He will just look at his phone, and I just go blah, blah blah (constant chatting), so I hate that, I can’t stand it,” Sania added.

The female sports star was also asked about some of her habits or traits which her husband doesn’t like. Sania said that she is an impatient person, which Shoaib might dislike about her.

“I think that I’m really impatient. I guess that’s what he probably dislikes the most about me,” Sania added further.

The couple has been together for more than ten years now. They have a baby boy, named Izhaan Mirza Malik, who was born in October 2018.
