Placing utmost fast deliveries are always considered as a feather on a bowler’s cap. Entering the 100 mph club will always be noted down as a great feat achieved by pacers over time. Former Pakistan speedster Mohammad Sami has recently stated that he has delivered the fastest ball in the cricket world so far. He also feels that an injustice has been done to him by the International Cricket Council as they didn’t acknowledge his record-breaking delivery. He recently opened on his side of the story on the same matter on Samaa TV.
Sami stated that ICC ruled out his fastest delivery because the speed gun was not properly working, but he feels that he is being discriminated against because of his nation. The pacer added that he is from Karachi, and it stands to be the reason why he was not recognized for his feat.
“I bowled 100 mph twice in international cricket, but they didn’t recognize it because I’m Karachite, I took 3-wickets in 4 overs, but they changed my spell because I’m Karachite,” said Sami as quoted by journalist Shoaib Jatt on Twitter.

In the same reference, Sami also threw light on his great contribution to the field of Pakistan cricket. He added that, there were fake allegations of match-fixing on him to pull him down and spot his reputation. Sami added that he also pleaded to the Pakistan Cricket Board back then to help him kick off the second innings of his cricket career.
Mohammad Sami clocked 100 mph against India in 2004
The incident when he clocked 100 mph happened during India’s tour of Pakistan in 2004. It is believed that the speedster placed a few deliveries over 100 miles per hour and out of them, one was to Rahul Dravid while another one was dealt by Sourav Ganguly. Talking about the current record of the fastest delivery in the international arena, it has been done by another Pakistan quick Shoaib Akhtar.
Akhtar clocked 161.3kph against England during the 2003 World Cup.
