The social media handlers of the International Cricket Council (ICC) have been in the headlines because of their smart marketing skills. The social media game is pretty tough to understand but ICC has hired the best in the business for that job. After ‘The Art, The Artist’ trend, a new trend has begun on the online platform where the users are uploading a collage of four photographs which they use on Linkedin, Facebook, Instagram, and Tinder, respectively.
The Indian Test specialist, Cheteshwar Pujara is celebrating his 32nd birthday today and ICC has wished him with a special meme. Earlier, the cricket governing body had posted a simple picture of Pujara and wished him by mentioning his statistics in the caption of the post. But now, they have wished the conventional player in an unconventional way.
ICC’s solid manner of celebrating Pujara’s birthday
The idea behind the ‘Linkedin, Facebook, Instagram and Tinder’ meme is that the most professional photo of oneself is placed in the Linkedin frame, Facebook is usually a photo of a family function while Instagram and Tinder feature the jazziest images. However, given how Pujara plays, ICC has hailed his batting technique with the above meme. They have even captioned it as follows – “Social media is just easy for some people.”

Cheteshwar Pujara’s incredible record in Test cricket
Although he did not achieve much success in the limited-overs cricket, Pujara has been the cornerstone of the Indian Test team because of his batting approach. The fans have labeled him as the second version of Rahul Dravid because of his batting style. Talking about his numbers in the longest format of the game, Pujara has scored 5,740 runs in 75 Test matches at an impressive average of 49.48. The highlighting part of his Test cricket is the number of balls that he has faced (12,293).
In first-class cricket, Pujara has aggregated over 15,000 runs which include 50 hundreds and 57 fifties. The Saurashtra-born batsman will be the key to India’s success when they lock horns with New Zealand in the upcoming ICC World Test Championship series. It will be intriguing to see how the right-handed batsman performs in the testing conditions.
