Singapore, the hosts of the T20 World Cup Asia Qualifier have an ideal chance of sealing their position in top two of the tournament and seal their place in the 2020 T20 World Cup Qualifiers. Singapore made their T20I in the tournament opener with a 33-run win over Qatar. However, their game against Kuwait on the following day got abandoned. They will now face Malaysia on Friday and a win will more or less seal their spot in top two in the table.
Malaysia, on the other hand, registered a convincing 42-run win in their first match against Kuwait. However, Nepal got better of them on Wednesday in the rain-affected match. Malaysia posted 83/7 in the restricted 9 overs which Nepal chased down with an over to spare. This will be a do-or-die game for Malaysia as a loss here could see them ending up with a maximum of four points while Singapore will move ahead of all with five points.
The 7th match of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Asia Region Final 2019 will be played between Singapore and Malaysia will be hosted by the Indian Association Ground in Singapore.
The match starts at 2:00 PM local time (11:30 AM IST) (6:00 AM GMT). This game will be streamed live on Singapore cricket Facebook page.
Last five completed Twenty20 matches (including unofficial ones):

Malaysia: L, W, L, L, W.
The tracks here at the Indian Association Ground in Singapore give hints of getting slowed down quickly. As the game between Singapore and Malaysia is the 2nd match to be played on Friday, the teams winning the toss will be seen electing to bat first. Anything over 140 can be winning total for the sides batting first.
