Preview for Dream11 Fantasy
Scotland Under-19s played their best game of the ongoing World Cup in South Africa against the UAE. They chased down 250 very easily thanks to half-centuries from Syed (Uzzair) Shah, Tomas Mackintosh even as Daniel Cairns starred with the ball. Scotland finally clicked with the bat after struggling against top teams in the group stage.
Sri Lanka colts, on the other hand, thrashed Nigeria in the first Plate Quarter Final. They first posted a mammoth total of 306/7 courtesy of a century from Ravindu Rasantha (102*) and then Dilshan Madhushanka ran through the Nigerian line-up with a five-wicket haul. Chamindu Wijesinghe and Kavindu Nadeeshan also picked two and three wickets respectively to skittle the opposition for just 73 in 17.3 overs.
The forecast in Potchefstroom is clear on Thursday with no chances of rain whatsoever. Though there is a prediction of a few dark clouds hovering over the stadium that won’t bother the teams. The temperature is expected to stay in the early 30s according to Accuweather.
A total of three matches of the ongoing World Cup have been played at the venue so far with the other being washed out. Only two matches were completed properly without the rain interruption which turned out to be one-sided as well. The pitch seems to be a decent one for the batsmen and the team winning the toss should bat first.
Note: We are not providing first innings score for the venue as one-sided matches have taken place with Scotland getting bowled out for just 75 against Pakistan. Afghanistan, against UAE, scored 265 batting first in the other completed game.

Ravindu Rasantha scored an unbeaten 102 in the previous game and if Sri Lanka bats first, he will be top pick yet again. Sonal Dinusha is scoring some important runs down the order for his team and can be picked as well. The likes of Wijesinghe, Nadeeshan, Daniel and Madhushanka have to be in your team at any cost.
For Scotland, Mackintosh and Uzzair Shah can make some crucial contribution. If Scotland is bowling first, then only it would be wise to pick their bowlers. These players should be picked in your Dream11 Fantasy teams.
