Liam Plunkett is living without his better half in lockdown
In the meantime, the cricketers are finding it difficult to stay away from the game for so long. However, they have got the opportunity to stay with their family and spend some good time. On the other hand, for Liam Plunkett, the situation is quite different and worse from his friends. He has his better half away from him and cannot do much over the same.
In an interview, Plunkett has said that he would have loved to be with her and spend some good time. He also added that now they will not be able to see each other for some time due to Coronavirus pandemic. There is no exact time when they will get the opportunity to travel to see each other. Plunkett also revealed that the time could be six months or more. So, he is just prepared for the worse along with hoping for the best in future.
“I’d love to be with her,” he said. “We are used to this situation. When someone takes something away from you, you want it more. We know we won’t see each other for a while, we don’t know when we are going to be able to travel to one another. That’s the unknown. It could be six months or longer. You think the worst, hope for the best. What’s going on is shocking, but what can I get out of me being alone?,” said Liam Plunkett in an interview given to Evening Standard.
