It’s match no. 50 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) and we have two teams who are against each other for the second time this season. Rajasthan Royals will be taking on the Kings XI Punjab at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi. The last time they both met it was an exhibition of sixes. Both the teams scored over 200 runs each and it was Rajasthan Royals who came out victorious.
RR’s campaign has had a bit of a downfall since then. None the less, they have found the required momentum heading into this match. KXIP too had a scenario where it looked it was the end for them, but they held their nerve and somehow pulled things back brilliantly. We have a brilliant contest on the cards as both the teams have everything to play for.
Here are the 3 players whom you can exclude from your Dream11 team for KXIP vs RR game
1. Robin Uthappa (8.5 credits)
Robin Uthappa has been rusty this season. He hasn’t played to his strength. But once, he was moved up the order, he has been doing well in providing quick starts to his team. To make things worse for him, he hasn’t been given the responsibility to don the keeping gloves. Hence, you can look into the other options for your Dream11 team.

2. Steve Smith (9 credits)
So far, Steve Smith has had an IPL which we are not used to. He brought up two fifties in his first two matches and from there on, he hasn’t really converted his starts into big ones. Mostly, his performance can be one of the reasons for RR to struggle this season. Hence, with the top order of KXIP scoring well, you can opt to exclude Smudge from your Dream11 team.
3. Chris Jordan (8.5 credits)
Chris Jordan hasn’t had an IPL to remember for himself. He has managed only 7 wickets with as many matches. He has been brilliant at the death though, not allowing the batters to free their arms. Also, he has been a tad expensive as well. With the likes of Shami, Jofra Archer, and others on offer, you can exclude Jordan from your Dream11 team.
