Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) were involved in an absolute humdinger on Sunday, October 18 at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi. In the end, the match went into the Super Over, after both the teams tied on 164 runs.
In the one-over eliminator, the Orange Army lost both their wickets, scoring only two runs. The Knight Riders had it easy from there onwards. After winning the toss and electing to field first, the Sunrisers didn’t allow the Knights to run away but lost their way during the end.
In the run-chase, SRH hammered 58 for no loss in the mandatory powerplay and were cantering to victory. But then, they stumbled and eventually allowed KKR to make a comeback. For Eoin Morgan and Co, they tightened their spot in the top four of the table.
Here are the KKR Player Ratings for the SRH vs KKR match: –

Rahul Tripathi- 7/10
Rahul Tripathi started in a promising manner for the Knights. He smashed two fours and a six, looking ominous, to say the least. To his dismay, fast bowler T Natarajan castled him to end his stay. The right-handed Tripathi scored 23 runs off 16 balls and he played at a decent strike-rate of 143.75.
Nitish Rana- 7/10
