The 13th edition of the Indian Premier League is all set to begin in the month of September. Due to the outbreak of Covid-19 pandemic, this edition of the tournament was delayed and will be conducted in the United Arab Emirates. The teams have already begun their journey to the Middle East nation for the tournament.
The players, as well as the support staff of all the teams, are supposed to remain in bio-secure bubbles throughout the duration of the league. Matches will be played in three venues namely Dubai, Sharjah and the capital Abu Dhabi. Consequently, the teams will be staying in hotels situated in these cities only.
Every team is currently living in a separate hotel where the players and other staff members are undergoing 7-day quarantine before they gear up to prepare for the tourney. During their quarantine, players will be tested on 1st, 3rd and 6th day. Apart from these players, squad members from England and Australia are supposed to arrive on September 17th and are expected to participate in the tournament right away.

1. Chennai Super Kings- Taj, Dubai
The Yellow Army is staying in The Taj Hotel situated in Dubai. A popular chain of hotels having a presence in India and many other Asian countries, Taj is a brand in the true sense of the term.

The Virat Kohli-led team will be spending their quarantine in Dubai as well. The team will be staying at the Waldorf Astoria Dubai Palm Jumeirah hotel situated on the Crescent Road in Dubai.
The hotel is owned by the Hilton group and is one of the premier destinations of the city. The hotel has its own private beach which helps it outrank many other resorts and inns. With many sea-facing rooms, the hotel can provide for a quick escape from high-pressure match situations to the players.

3. Kings XI Punjab- Sofitel The Palm, Dubai
Much like their counterparts from Bangalore, the Kings XI Squad will also be staying in a Beach Resort. They are scheduled to stay in Sofitel The Palm in Dubai.
Located in The Palm Jumeirah, East Crescent Road, the place is away from the constantly buzzing city. The stay is French-themed providing the visitors with an escape from their busy life in the South-pacific culture-inspired resort.
The hotel is a 30-minute drive away from the airport, thus catering to the needs of the franchise. Much like other places, it is also equipped with a spa and fitness centre where the players can work out on their free days.
4. Mumbai Indians- St Regis, Abu Dhabi
Mumbai Indians is one of the only two teams not having their team hotel in Dubai. They will, in fact, be staying at the Capital in St Regis Resort. Located near the Nation Tower in Corniche, the place may provide a refuge to the players from all the anxiety they counter during the matches.
The Hotel is adjacent to a mall which may provide an adequate pass-time for the player during their free days. The customers here also get access to their private beach club which can act as a major stress-buster.

6. Delhi Capitals- Palace Downtown, Dubai
The Delhi based franchise will also be staying in Dubai for the IPL 2020. They are scheduled to stay in the Palace Downtown Hotel in Dubai. Located at a three-min walk away from the Dubai fountain, the place makes up for an interesting and recreational stay.

The Rajasthan based team is all set for a Royal stay in the Emirates during IPL 2020. The Royals will be staying in the One and Only The Palm at Dubai.
Located on the West Crescent, Palm Jumeirah, it is regarded as one of the finest places to stay in the city. The place is inspired by the architecture of Moorish palaces and provides for various leisure and relaxing activities.
The visitors are given access to a private beach and can also live in beach-front accommodation. The players will be able to recover from the intense situations by indulging in activities like water sports and golf.
8. Kolkata Knight Riders- Ritz Carlton, Abu Dhabi
Apart from Mumbai Indians, Kolkata Knight Riders are the only other team staying out of Dubai in IPL 2020. Located in the Al Maqta Area in Abu Dhabi, the place boasts of many Venetian-inspired buildings forming a crest around the pool.
The whole resort covers an area of 57 acres with 23,000 sq feet of event space. The resort provides access to a Bedouin inspired spa for the customers as well as a private beach and a 1600 sq meter pool.
The place acts an asylum for people coping with stress which makes it perfect for the players to beat their exhaustion after the matches. The place a 20 minute drive away from the airport, thus enabling a rapid commute for the squad.
