The 5th match of the Ireland Inter-Provincial Twenty20 Series is all set to be played between the Northern Knights and the Muster Roads at the Civil Service Cricket Club.
The match is scheduled to start at 1:30 PM Local Time (6:00 PM IST) (12:30 PM GMT) and can be seen live on Cricket Ireland YouTube Channel.
After winning their first match the Northern Knights will be playing against the somewhat out of form team, the Munster Reds in the fifth match of the tournament. In their first match, which got affected by rain, the Northern Knights went past the North West Warriors by a margin of two runs. And, their opponents in this match, the Munster Reds failed to stop the Leinster Lightning from chasing down the total they were set by the Reds. The Munster Reds lost the match by 9 wickets.
With one team doing well and the other one struggling a bit, this match will have clear favourites panned out before its start and they are unarguably, the Northern Knights. So, if the Munster Reds want to get past the Northern Knights successfully, they will have to push their abilities to their limits.
The forecast does not look good for Thursday, as heavy rains are expected for the day. The temperature will be around the 14 degree Celsius mark.
The pitch at the Civil Service is expected to favour the bowlers, with the most amount of help coming in for the pacers. The batsmen would find it hard to score runs here.
