Ishan Porel joins the bandwagon in the battle against Coronavirus
In a recent interview, Ishan Porel, the talented and young bowler from Bengal said that everyone needs to join hands in order to fight this novel virus. So as a citizen of the country, everyone should do whatever they can to help the country. He also added that he has also arranged rice, cereals and other grocery items for the people near his locality, who cannot afford much in the lockdown and Ishan, along with his parents, is going to distribute everything in the upcoming days.
“We need to help people fight this dreaded disease in whatever way we can. I am doing my bit. I am also arranging basic food like rice, cereals and grocery for 100 people near my locality who can’t afford food because of this lockdown. They have been identified and my parents and I will be distributing the goods in the next two days,” Porel said as quoted by India Today.
The young pacer was unimpressed with the behaviour of people, who are still roaming in the streets. According to Porel, they need to understand the fact that they are putting everyone’s life in danger by doing it.
“I am seeing on TV that people are still crowding the streets. They need to realise by doing this they are putting everybody’s life in danger. I urge all to stay home and cooperate with our government in this grim battle to defeat this virus,” the Bengal pacer added.
