One of the biggest advantages of playing in a franchise-based competition, especially for a youngster, is he/she gets a chance to rub shoulders with and against some of the greatest players in the world. Rubbing shoulders with the best in the world not only helps these youngsters hone their skills but also aids them in growing temperamentally.
The fifth edition of the Pakistan Super League has given another such opportunity to the precocious young talents of Pakistan to rub shoulders with some of the best in the best. And, fast bowler Rumman Raees is relishing every moment that he is spending with the legendary Dale Steyn at Islamabad United.
In an exclusive interview with Geo Sports, Raees heaped praise on the legendary Steyn while also mentioning that he is not leaving any opportunity of taking tips from the latter during his stay in the PSL.
“I have always idolized Dale Steyn as his accuracy and consistency are very impressive. I’m aiming to learn as much as I can from him,” Raees said as quoted by Geo Sports.
He added, “This is the real essence of PSL. You get the opportunity to rub shoulders with such legends. It will be an injustice to Steyn if I don’t try to learn anything from him.”
