James Neesham is pretty active on social media and keeps on posting at regular intervals. He also interacts with the fans and has a great sense of humour. Last time, a fan told him that he could’ve hit three sixes off Jofra Archer in the famous Super Over in the final of the 2019 World Cup. Neesham hilariously replied that he should’ve thought about it.
Earlier, a Twitter user called him an a***ole and yet another time, the southpaw had a humorous reply up his sleeve. Lately, Neesham was a part of another rib-tickling conversation. An ecstatic fan asked for a thumbs up on his wedding night. Tagging Neesham, the fan wrote, “@JimmyNeesh it’s my wedding night can i get a thumbs up from you?,”
In the meantime, Neesham had another smart reply in store. Understanding that the supporter should be busy in his preparations on the auspicious day, Neesham asked him a question. The 28-year-old replied to the fan and wrote “Shouldn’t you be busy?,”

James Neesham taking part in the CPL
After impressing in the World Cup, Neesham went on Brampton, Ontario where he plied his trade for the Edmonton Royals in the second edition of the Global T20 Canada. The Auckland-born is presently playing for the Trinbago Knight Riders in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL). He played his first match versus the St Kitts and Nevis Patriots at the Queen’s Park Oval in Trinidad.
He didn’t flatter to deceive and managed to bag the Player of the Match award. The left-hander scored 33 runs off 30 balls with the help of three fours and a solitary over-boundary. He was also involved in a partnership of 60 runs with Denesh Ramdin after the team lost three quick wickets. With the ball in hand, he didn’t make a great start and conceded 15 runs in his first over.
But he made a decent comeback, picking up three crucial wickets. He gave TKR their first wicket and then dismissed Usama Mir and Sheldon Cottrell in the 20th over to bring the curtains down on the game. His next task will be against the Jamaica Tallawahs at the same venue.
