James Neesham, the New Zealand all-round cricketer, is one of the more active participants on social media platforms. The southpaw keeps on sharing his views on a number of issues from time to time. He doesn’t mind expressing his opinions, not paying heed to the chaos and commotion around him. The 28-year-old Neesham also has also interacted with the fans on Twitter.
Last month, he had a massive heartache after he couldn’t help his team through to victory in the final of the World Cup against hosts England at the Lord’s Cricket Ground. In that game, he was entrusted to take the Black Caps home in the Super Over. The Auckland-born got 14 runs in five balls, but the Kiwis could only manage to draw level in the one-over eliminator.

In that over, he also picked the bones of Jofra Archer, who has bayed for blood with his lethal bouncers of late. He deposited the speedster over square-leg into the stands. A few days ago, a fan said that he could’ve hit three sixes and that would’ve sealed the fate of the match. Neesham didn’t get unnerved by the dig and he replied cheekily, saying that he wasn’t aware of it.
Neesham was upset, seeing his team go down at the Home of Cricket. He asked the kids to not take up sport as a profession, such was the trauma he was going through after the defeat. He was one of New Zealand’s star performers, having delivered with both bat and ball. Neesham made his international comeback only earlier this year in an ODI series versus Sri Lanka.
In the meantime, his relationship with fans scaled a new height. One of the users, took a jibe at him with an abusive word. The user took to Twitter and wrote, “jimmy boy, anybody told you you’re a bit of an a**hole?”

Neesham is pretty accustomed to shutting down such trolls and he didn’t fail even this time around. He replied to the user and wrote, “Oh all the time, nobody I care about though so it’s fine.”
