Jimmy Neesham must be the most popular cricketer on social media thanks to his hilarious antics on Twitter. The Kiwi all-rounder has become more highlighted thanks to his amazing innings in the 2019 ICC World Cup final, where he tried hard to get the Black Caps their first title.
His dejected face, along with Kane Williamson’s made every cricket fan sympathize with not only Neesham and Williamson but the whole New Zealand team. Skipper Kane Williamson earned the respect of many fans post the mega-event.
But much to the dismay of his fans, New Zealand Kane Williamson skipper is not on any social media platform. He is quite a shy person who keeps himself away from the spotlight and this was on display in the aftermath of the controversial World Cup, where he was a perfect picture of poise and grace. He accepted the results without putting blame on anyone, asking for better rules in similar situations from the governing body.
Fan wants Neesham to bring Williamson on Twitter as his new year resolution
Meanwhile, Neesham had a Q&A session on Twitter with his fans and entertaining him, when a fan’s asked him to make it his new year resolution to bring Kane Williamson on Twitter next year. The fan tweeted, “Please make it your new year resolution to bring Kane Williamson to Twitter in 2020.”

Neesham, being the known savage that he is, replied in kind, saying that he was thinking of making his resolution to bring peace to the world, but if he wants Williamson on Twitter he would make sure he fulfils it. “I was thinking world peace but yea sure,” Neesham replied.
Kane Williamson is widely regarded as one of the great modern era batsmen with more than 6,000 runs in both formats of the game with a cumulative 34 centuries in 76 Tests, 149 ODIs and 57 T20I matches. He took over the captaincy from Brendon McCullum on a full-time basis after his retirement and has led amazingly well. He took his team to the finals of World Cup and if not for the boundary count rule, would have made them champion as well.
