Kedar Jadhav recently took part in CSK’s pre-season camp
Jadhav recently returned to his hometown Pune after the Chennai Super Kings pre-season training session was called off due to the pandemic COVID-19. Kedar was a part of the franchise’s net-session alongside Murali Vijay, Harbhajan Singh, Karn Sharma, Suresh Raina, KM Asif, Mahendra Singh Dhoni and local players like R Sai Kishore and N Jagadeesan among others.
Chennai Super Kings had conducted a pre-season camp at the Chepauk but were forced to call it off after the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League was postponed till April 15th. With India currently under lockdown for at least 21 days, it is almost impossible to hold the IPL from April 15th.
The Sourav Ganguly-led Board of Control for Cricket in India [BCCI] were supposed to hold a meeting with the IPL franchises via video conference but with the situation not showing any signs of improvement, the meeting was called off.
“We have not decided on that yet. We don’t know yet. Let’s see how things go in the next few days,” Sourav Ganguly, BCCI President, was quoted as saying by Sportstar when asked whether the 13th edition of the IPL stands cancelled.
