Former England player Kevin Pietersen was one of the very few overseas cricketers who is still admired by Indian supporters. He will forever be remembered as one of the greatest England batsmen in his heydays. He bludgeoned 8,181 runs with the help of 23 centuries and 35 fifties across 104 Tests. The right-handed batsman has essayed 4440 runs in ODIs, scoring nine centuries and 25 fifties in 125 innings.
As far as the truncated version is concerned, he has scored 1176 in 36 games. He hit the peak performance in his cricketing career when he was named the Man of the Tournament after England lifted the T20 World Cup in 2010 which was team’s first-ever ICC trophy.
Pietersen was an important part of the team that won the Ashes at home in 2005. Overall, he has won four Ashes with England. It is worth mentioning here that Kevin Pietersen is the second-highest run-scorer for England of all time across formats.

This magnificent shot involves effectively switching from a right-hander to a left-hander just before the ball is released by the bowler only for the purpose of playing the shot.
