The 11th match of the Karnataka Premier League 2019 will be played between Hubli Tigers and Belagavi Panthers at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
The match starts at 7:00 PM local time (IST) (1:30 PM GMT).
This game will be live on Star Sports and live streaming is available on Hotstar.
Hubli Tigers are the only team in this KPL to lose more than one game as they ended up on the losing side in both their matches. They lost to Shivamogga Lions by six wickets in the first match who chased down the target of 155 with two overs to spare. In their 2nd game, Hubli fell nine runs short of Bellary Tuskers’ total of 163/8. Losing too many wickets in the middle-overs cost the game for Hubli.
They stand as the only side to not open their account until Tuesday. The Tigers will be up against Belagavi Panthers on Wednesday night. The Panthers began their campaign with a 5-run defeat in a 144-run chase against Bellary Tuskers. They missed the experience of Manish Pandey middle-order after losing early wickets. Pandey featured in the previous game against Mysuru Warriors which got washed out.
Only one match played in the night was completed without a rain interruption in this edition. The rain threat remains on Wednesday as well. Light showers with thunderstorm are predicted in the weather forecast.
It is quite tough to predict how the track behaves during the night matches due to the rain interruptions. Only one out of five matches played in the night this season was completed without any interruption. Two matches got washed out even without the completion of the first innings. VJD revisions were needed to decide the winner in another two matches where less than 30 overs of play was possible.
Average first innings score: 167 (Unaffected KPL matches played in the night since 2019)
Record of chasing teams: Won – 1, Lost – 3

Mohammed Taha and Pawan KB are the two names Hubli Tigers who couldn’t be fitted in our Suggested XIs. Taha’s price and his form this season are a concern while Pawan is the cheapest pick among the batsmen. However, Pawan has been overlooked for picking consistent performers with the bat.
Belagavi Panthers might edge out Hubli Tigers on their way to first win of the tournament.
