The 10th game of the 2019 Oman Men’s CWC Challenge League B will be played between Jersey and Kenya at the Al Amerat Cricket Ground Oman Cricket (Ministry Turf).
The match starts at 9:30 AM local time (5:30 AM GMT) (11:00 PM IST).
Kenya finally added points to their tally in the CWC Challenge as their game on Sunday against Bermuda ended without a result. Interestingly, both the teams went into the game having lost their first two matches. Bermuda were going well at 230/7 in 46.4 overs before the rain break and Kenya could be considered as the luckier side. They will now face Jersey on Monday who also lost their first two matches. However, Jersey bounced back strongly with a huge 122-run win against Italy. They bundled out the Italy team to just 158 after posting 280/8 in their 50 overs.
Both the matches in the tournament on Sunday were washed out due to rain. However, Monday’s forecast is much better and is unlikely to cause an interruption.
The Ministry Turf 1 has been on the slower side in this tournament as even a target of 249 couldn’t be chased down here. On Sunday, in a rain affected match, Hong Kong were struggling at 170/7 after 45.1 overs of play against Italy. With both Jersey and Kenya having enough spin options, both are expected to perform well at this venue.
Average first innings score: 210 (Completed Matches in CWC Challenge)

Ben Stevens is a must in the fantasy team for this match as he scored 101 runs and claimed six wickets thus far across 3 games. Kenya skipper Collins Obuya took five wickets in three matches and also aggregated 41 runs in two innings. Julius Sumerauer and Lameck Onyango have picked up six and four wickets respectively.
Captain and Vice-Captain Selection:
Captain – Ben Stevens, Collins Obuya, Nick Greenwood.

In the all-rounders’ category, only Collins Obuya is the only worthy pick among the Kenya players. Remaining players from Kenya in this set are more like risky pickings.
Jersey is expected to defeat Kenya by a good margin.
