Sanjay Manjrekar calling Ravindra Jadeja ‘bits and pieces’ cricketer has certainly become an event, especially on social media. While Jadeja himself lashed out at him and the former England cricketer Michael Vaughan is having a lot of fun over the same. Manjrekar also blocked Vaughan on Twitter for taking a dig at him every now and then. Vaughan even then urged him to unblock by using a hilarious meme.
However, the former England skipper was once again at it when Ravindra Jadeja hogged the limelight on the field against New Zealand on Wednesday. Known for his fielding, the left-hander affected a sensational direct hit in the 48th over when Ross Taylor was stealing a second run. To be fair, the way the batsman had played the ball with the soft hands, with any other fielder, Taylor should’ve completed the run easily.
But not with Jadeja who was aware at the deep square leg. The all-rounder was exceptional in the next over as well. Tom Latham slammed a length delivery in the deep and Jadeja was a few meters inside the boundary to save two runs. But looking at the ball go over his head, he timed his jump perfectly to pluck the ball out of thin air.
Bloody good cricketer
The way Ravindra Jadeja managed to shine in only the 23 balls of action at the Old Trafford, Michael Vaughan didn’t leave a chance to take a dig at his friend Sanjay Manjrekar. Rather it was special praise for India’s best fielder for his efforts in the middle. He termed Jadeja as a bloody good cricketer in his tweet while reminding Manjrekar about his comment yet again.
“BITS for Bowling .. & for Fielding .. PIECES for Batting .. All in All the ingredients for a bloody good Cricketer .. !!! #CWC19,” Vaughan’s tweet read. However, his tweet won’t reach Manjrekar as he has blocked the former England international.
Here’s his tweet:

India in tatters
Meanwhile, Team India is in complete tatters at the moment chasing 240. New Zealand are completely over the batsmen with their exceptional bowling. While Trent Boult sent back Virat Kohli, Matt Henry was the wrecker in chief picking crucial wickets of Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul and Dinesh Karthik. Hardik Pandya and Rishabh Pant are currently rebuilding the innings and there is still a mountain to climb for the Men in Blue.
