The sporting scenario has come to a standstill due to the outbreak and all cricketers are currently being left with no choice but to spend their idle time on social media. Several cricketers are spending their quarantine time by interacting with fans on Twitter or Instagram.
Many cricketers including Rohit Sharma, Shreyas Iyer, Ishant Sharma, Ravichandran Ashwin and Kevin Pietersen have resorted to Instagram live or Twitter Q&A sessions for killing their idle time during isolation.
Meanwhile, one Indian international who has notched up his social media activities during the quarantine is Yuzvendra Chahal. Chahal, who was set to don the Royal Challengers Bangalore jersey in IPL 2020, has been uploading many TikTok videos across the social media. He has also been quite active on Twitter as well as Instagram. Chahal has been a part of many Instagram videos with other Indian players like Rohit Sharma and Shreyas Iyer.
Mitchell McClenaghan, who is another player who has always been active on social media, termed Chahal as the ‘TikTok king’. The Kiwi pacer was asked by a fan on Twitter if he could beat Chahal in making TikTok videos. McClenaghan, in his reply, denied the possibility and said that the leg-spinner is the king of making TikTok videos.
“Can you Beat Legend Tiktok Star Yuzvendra Chahal,” asked the fan. And McClenaghan responded with– “No I’ve seen he is King.”

Yuzvendra Chahal was set to play for RCB in IPL 2020
Chahal had hogged the attention with his first TikTok video itself where he was seen dancing hilariously with two models. He had also shared a TikTok video featuring other Indian stars like Rohit Sharma, Shreyas Iyer and Shivam Dube. Recently, the leg-spinner has been uploading many hilarious TikTok clips featuring his family during the quarantine period.
Chahal was set to play for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the thirteenth edition of IPL. However, due to the outbreak of coronavirus, the tournament has been postponed indefinitely and it looks like cricket fraternity has to wait a while for things to get back normal.
