Apart from action on the field, the cricketers have also been involved in some heartfelt moments during the ongoing two-match Test series between New Zealand and Pakistan. The hosts won the opening Test and the second match at the Hagley Oval in Christchurch is currently underway. In the first game, it was Yasir Shah, who made a fan’s day by giving away his Test cap.
The fan was over the moon after the gesture by the Pakistan leg-spin bowler. This time around, the Black Caps’ Kyle Jamieson came to the party. During the first day’s play for the current Test, he signed a bald man’s head. The supporter then pumped his fists in joy and ecstasy and his joy knew no bounds. Jamieson also showed that he’s a down-to-earth and humble character.

Kyle Jamieson having an excellent Test match
Jamieson has had a memorable Test match thus far. In the first innings, he finished with a five-wicket haul and broke the backbone of the Pakistan batting unit. He got rid of Abid Ali, Haris Sohail, Fawad Alam, Mohammad Rizwan and Faheem Ashraf. In 21 overs, he also bowled eight maidens, keeping a check on the run-scoring. In the second innings, he already has the wicket of Shan Masood.
On the fourth day’s play with Pakistan trailing by 354 runs, Jamieson will be looking for more wickets. He will have Tim Southee, Trent Boult and Matt Henry for the company in the fast-bowling department. As far as the game is concerned, the Kiwis are, well and truly, on the driver’s seat. They have dominated the first three day’s play and would be looking to end on a clinical note.
In the first innings, Kane Williamson sparkled yet another time with a knock of 238 runs off 364 balls with 28 fours. He got the apt support from Henry Nicholls, who smashed 157 runs off 291 balls with 18 fours and one six.
Late down the order, Daryl Mitchell scored 102 runs off 112 balls to propel the Black Caps to a formidable score. It remains to be seen whether or not New Zealand can complete a series whitewash.
