Ravindra Jadeja is currently working hard to recover from the thumb injury and return to action. The India star has been on the sidelines since suffering the injury during the tour of Australia. He was hit on his thumb by a short ball from Mitchell Starc during the third Test of the four-match Border-Gavaskar series.
The blow resulted in a dislocated thumb and Jadeja had to undergo surgery. Due to the injury, he missed the last Test in Australia as well as the four-match home series against England. Jadeja is also not a part of India’s squad for the upcoming five-match T20I series against England. The all-rounder will be hoping that he recovers in time for the three-match ODI series against England.
Jadeja has started his training already and has been keeping his fans updated with the same. It will be interesting to see whether the team-management rushes his comeback if he recovers in time for the ODI series. But in case Jadeja does not play the ODI series, he is likely to return to action in the upcoming IPL which is scheduled to start on April 9.

World’s best cricketer in 2025
With no cricket commitment at the moment, Ravindra Jadeja is seemingly spending a good amount of time on social media. He is not only posting regularly about his training but has also been commenting on different posts. And he recently came up with a very interesting comment on his first IPL team Rajasthan Royals‘ post.
On Wednesday, the Royals asked the cricket fans to name a player who will go on to become the best cricketer in the year 2025. Jadeja noticed the post on Instagram and was quick to reply to it. Jadeja simply opted to write his name as he backed himself to be the best in the world by 2025. Well, it won’t be wrong to say that Jadeja is already one of the best all-rounders in the game at present.
Coming to the post, the fans were delighted with Jadeja’s reply and the Royals were happy with the comment too as they wrote: ‘End of discussion’.
