Just days after Pakistan stars Hasan Ali and Imad Wasim got married, another cricketer – Glenn Maxwell – is reportedly dating an Indian-born girlfriend based in Melbourne. Both Hasan and Imad got married last week in Dubai and Islamabad respectively. While Hasan’s wedding was a lavish affair, Imad’s one was a low-key affair that took place in an Islamabad mosque. Hasan turned heads after marrying a Dubai-based Indian girl named Samia Arzoo. Samiya hails from Haryana and has been working in the Air Emirates for the last three years.
On the other hand, Imad married a British-Pakistan. Well, Glenn Maxwell might also follow the footsteps of Hasan by tying the knot with an Indian lady. Indian-born lady Vini Raman and the Aussie all-rounder are reportedly dating for a long time. However, there is no clarity over when the two love birds will tie the knot.
If Maxwell and Vini go on to enter matrimony with each other, they will not be the first Indian-Australian couple as far as Australian cricket circle is concerned. Former Australia bowler Shaun Tait also married an Indian girl. The former tearaway pacer tied the knot with Mashoom Singha in 2014. The duo had met each-other at the IPL party and bonded instantly before getting married.
Here are a few pictures and videos of the lovebirds

A disastrous World Cup:
Hopes were sky high from Glenn Maxwell in this year’s World Cup and the reasons were obvious. In the 2015 World Cup, he was Australia’s star man as they went on to win their fifth title. He had finished the tournament with 324 runs. Some of his impressive knocks were 66 off 40 balls against England, a breathtaking 88 (off 39) against Afghanistan and 102 (53) against Sri Lanka. Not only that, but he had also picked up six wickets with his part-time spin.
However, Maxwell failed miserably in this World Cup as Australia crashed out at the semifinal stage with a loss to eventual winners and hosts England. The all-rounder looked like a pale shadow of his usual self. But Maxwell has found his form in the ongoing T20 Blast for Lancashire and will be looking to replicate it in international cricket too.
